Robert Reedy
Principal NCARB, LEED, AIA
In 1983, Robert and his partner Steve Sykes set out to create an architecture firm based on quality design for both the client and builder. Over the years they have created countless relationships. They are believers in communication and strive to give the best advice through the design stages. Robert is a member of the Rotary Club in Elizabethton and is the current Treasurer. He is active in his church and church choir. He enjoys the time that he and his wife have with their grandchildren. Their favorite activity is to visit and camp in local state parks. Robert is Licensed in Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina
Steve Sykes
Principal NCARB, AIA
In 1983, Steve and his partner Robert Reedy set out to create an architecture firm based on quality design for both the client and builder. Over the years they have created countless relationships. They are believers in communication and strive to give the best advice through the design stages. Steve is a member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association, Archaeological Institute of America, and Experiential Aircraft Association. Steve enjoys flying when the weather is nice and traveling. He and his wife enjoy visting their Florida home and currently are designing and building a cabin. Steve is Licensed in Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, and South Carolina
Joey White
Senior Designer and Draftsman
Joey White is a naturally gifted designer who graduated University of Tennessee School of Architecture in 1985 and immediately began practicing architecture with Reedy and Sykes Architecture and Design. A great respecter of form and order, he excels in the design of churches, war memorials and truly inspired technical details affiliated with those and other structures. He enjoys testing new tools in his workshop and spending time with his wife and brother. Joey is a Stoney Creek native and contributes his woodworking skills to his church with numerous projects through the year.
Kim Ornduff
Senior Designer
Kimberly Ornduff graduated the University of Tennessee School of Architecture in 1994 and made a fine addition to the Reedy and Sykes team when she joined the firm that same year. Also an excellent designer, Kim’s sense of color composition and sense for blending materials and textures give her particular skills for creating intimate relationships within the building. Following her graduation she came back to Johnson City. Currently, her daughter is on track for medical school at Quillen College of Medicine. Kim enjoys creating peaceful spaces, which include her beautiful new backyard pool.
Kim Vittetoe
Interior Designer NCIDQ
Kim Vittetoe graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2016. She joined the firm that same year and has helped the R&S team to render numerous projects. Her design and computer rendering skills help assist clients to grasp the early stages of a project. Her passion for design started at an early age and continues to create functional and pleasing spaces with her clients. Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, playing soccer in a local league and gardening year around.

Beau Begley
Intern Architect
Beau Begley graduated the University of Tennessee School of Architecture in 2021 and made a fine addition to the Reedy and Sykes team when he joined the firm that same year. Beau's had hands on experience with commercial and residential clients. His ability to provide 3D modeling, construction drawings and communicate with clients & contractors has been evident during Calvary Church renovations. Beau is our office chef and we appreciate the delicious cupcakes he brings to the office! When the weather is warm he can be found playing in a softball league and other various sports.
